Quillbot was growing fast, but its brand hadn’t caught up. Marketing and product lacked a shared visual language, and creative was being built differently across teams and channels.

From Fragmented Creative to a Unified System
I created Quillbot’s first comprehensive marketing style guide, established reusable email templates, hired and directed a freelance illustrator, and began building a small internal design team. I also raised the quality and consistency of our paid media creative, and became the connective link between Marketing and Product, coordinating across both teams to create a more consistent customer experience.
The result was less a collection of individual designs and more a functioning brand system: one that gave teams clearer standards, increased consistency, and allowed Quillbot’s creative output to grow without losing its identity.
